Recognizing the Best & Brightest in Our Profession
As the professional association for procurement and supply chain professionals, ISM recognizes the brightest examples among us in our profession. From those studying supply management principles in universities to seasoned professionals at the pinnacle of their career, we offer award and scholarship programs to support and celebrate professional accomplishments.
Richter Scholarship & Award
The R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation and the R. Gene Richter Scholarship fund at ISM will provide a US$10,000 scholarship (US$5,000 for December graduates) to individuals seeking education in supply management, supply chain management or procurement.
30 Under 30 Program
ISM’s 30 Under 30 Supply Chain Stars is a recognition program that acknowledges young purchasing/supply management practitioners for their passion, creativity and contributions to the profession. The program has been structured not only to recognize these professionals, but also to provide a support framework for continued development and success.
J. Shipman Gold Medal Award
Established in 1931, the J. Shipman Gold Medal Award is ISM’s most prestigious award. Named after and in honor of Johnson Shipman, a man known for his vision, intellect and influence on important issues, the award is presented to those individuals whose modest, unselfish, sincere and persistent efforts have aided the advancement of the supply management field.
